Specialized washing lines for leafy greens

Our solutions for washing leafy greens are perfect for cleaning various types of salad leaves (baby leaf, rocket and lamb's lettuce). Removing sand, soil residues and other dirt without damaging the leaves is our speciality.

The product can be supplied loose, in small crates or large containers by means of a tipping device in a water bath.
A gentle current is created in the water bath, which washes the lettuce and transports it to an output belt. Air bubbles are blown into the water from below the water bath in a very fine distribution for extra movement. This creates a better washing effect.

Filters are used to filter leaf particles, soil residues and flies out of the water. This process can be repeated with multiple washing tanks until the lettuce is clean.

The lettuce is then tapped or blown dry on various conveyor belts. At the end of the rinsing cycle, the lettuce is easy to pack. It is also possible to supply accompanying water recycling systems, dirty water and clean water pumps.

The frame of the machine is made of stainless steel. This makes the machine suitable for food-safe processing. The machine is ergonomicly to work with and designed in accordance with the requirements set by the ISO 9001 and CE.
