Koppert Machines is a specialist in innovative machines and automation solutions for horticulture and food processing that make work smarter and more efficient.

We design, build and install smart and sustainable technology that helps growers, processors and producers to work more efficiently, reduce labour costs and ensure high product quality. We have been doing this for over 40 years now, with a lot of knowledge, craftsmanship and passion for technology.

from the first idea to the realization

Whether it is a standard machine or a customer specific solution: we actively collaborate with you from the first idea until the project is realized. In this way, we offer suitable automation for every problem.

We combine practical insights with technical innovations. Our strength lies in customization and personal advice. Together with the customer, we come up with the best solution.

With in-house engineering and construction, we ensure the best outcome: machines that are thoughtfully designed, highly reliable, and make a real difference in daily operations.

2008

Opening of our current premises at Vlotlaan 616 in Monster.

2000

Koppert Machines started developing machines for spring onions. After a few years, we stopped doing this to focus more on the rise of snack vegetables.

2000

The first 14-row bunching machine was developed.

1996

Koppert Machines relocated to a completely new building at Vlotlaan 41 in Monster.

1996

The first four bunching machines were delivered and further improved in collaboration with four leading radish growers.

Koppert Machines supplied the machines at cost price and took on the development costs to make the concept marketable. This convinced growers to get started.

It was a great success, with dozens of machines following.

1986

Koppert Machines relocated to larger premises at Vlotlaan 37 in Monster.

1986

The idea was born to automate radish without leaves using mechanical processing technology. This was a minimal setup with one deleafing unit and one top and tailing unit. With a capacity of 'only' 350 kg per hour. It was delivered to Veiling Zuid, in Het Westland.

1983

Later that year, the harvesting machine for loose radishes was also developed. This machine was operated by walking behind it and steering it yourself.

1983

In the first year, Arie Koppert started building sowing machines for greenhouse horticulture. Arie also had to sow seeds first in order to reap the rewards!

1983

Koppert Machines was founded in 1983 by Arie Koppert. He found his first location on Westerduinlaan in Monster, in a small shed belonging to a greenhouse horticulture company.
