Sowing line for abnormal seeds (such as cress)

Koppert Machines has fully automated the seed lines for Koppert Cress. The cresses are grown on a pulp medium that is automatically and accurately dispensed from a mixing tank into the seed trays.

Due to the wide variety of seeds, different types of sowing units are integrated into a fixed setup, with trays, containers or tables moving under the units via a conveyor belt. Various setups are possible to achieve perfect sowing results for products that are not grown in open ground. The frame is made entirely of stainless steel and offers ergnomical working conditions for employees. It is designed in accordance with ISO 9001 and CE-standards.

The machine is suitable for sowing cress and other similar crops.
