Weighing and dosing system for automatic packaging
This automated feeding system has been developed for snack tomatoes, snack peppers and other snack vegetables that are packaged in trays or bags. The system ensures an even feed via a tipper or manual feed from 60x40 crates. A bunker with a vibrating chute ensures a controlled product flow to a roller sorting belt. The fully programmable PLC system with touchscreen allows for precise settings for a variety of packaging scenarios, including mixed packs with multiple colours.
The system is suitable for snack vegetables such as snack peppers, snack cucumbers and snack tomatoes, which must be weighed efficiently, accurately and in a food-safe manner prior to automatic packaging.
